Happy Day To You: In all labour or hard work, there is profit but mere talking about getting rich while living to pursue your pleasures only lead to poverty. I repeated the verse in three bible versions for emphasis and to drive the point clearly home. There are many truck pushers who have educated their children to the tertiary level, built houses, have a fleet of cars they use for commercial purposes through truck pushing in markets while highly educated people with skills sit around talking of getting rich and criticising those who are. There are also those who work hard but only make little profit. How can people like this increase their profit level without hurting others? We shall be looking at working to profit that will not hurt others or our society as Jesus expects of us.
Today’s Exercise: Say to yourself “ the work of my hands yields profit today and always” 10 times and anytime that you start another assignment.
