THERE BEFORE YOU
““I will go before you and make the rough places smooth; I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars. I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden wealth of secret places, So that you may know that it is I, The Lord, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.” Isaiah 45:2-3 NASB1995
GOOD DAY: O what peace, courage, comfort and joy we miss when we fail to acknowledge or believe this fact that God goes before us to any situation we shall meet. When I meet an uncomplimentary situation in particular, I forget that God has been there before me and keep struggling without connecting with Him. The struggle wears me out and I even blame God for permitting such a thing.
My dear friends, God made us and moves everything about each of us for His purpose. Whether it is joyful or otherwise, it is part of His story. The best thing is to agree with Him and flow with His tide as He would have us so we can have peace. Myself and someone were in a conflict with a third party. I asked the Holy Spirit what to do as my friend and I were not at any fault. He said our side should apologise as all that was needed was an apology by the third party. My friend refused to apologise but I chose to obey the Holy Spirit. I have peace of mind and my friend is troubled by the ‘offended’ and she has no peace. No matter how bad or joyful a situation is, God is there before you. Ask Him for how to relate within the situation.
PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus Christ, teach me to relate with You as I would with a friend, father, helper and comforter in all situations.
