???? kindly read the above devotional very well and we can discuss how the proposal by the author, Sis Bose Olatunbosun, can be put into practice by us. It is striking that in the quoted verse in Jeremiah, instead of the ten righteous persons God was looking for to spare Sodom and Gomorrah, He was looking for just one righteous person for Him to spare Jerusalem!!. May God give us the grace, determination and enablement to be His channel of positive change,starting from our immediate environment (bubble, as the author puts it) and from there it will spread.
I learnt that the country, New Zealand, became a nuclear-free country because one person started the campaign and it spread down his Street to the neighbourhood to the local government to the State, until it got to the Federal government. So it is possible for one person to initiate and bring about change in her or his country. There’s a wise saying: “instead of cursing the darkness, light a candle”! Food for thought. We are enjoyed in the Holy Scriptures to encourage one another to do what is right:
