TIME TO CHOOSE AGAIN
I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, by loving the Lord your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days, that you may live in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”Deuteronomy 30:19-20NASB1995
GOOD DAY: Life is a sum total of choices that we make each time and overtime. Choices and their effects are like driving in a direction to a destination. You can choose to change the direction of travel at any time. The end of each year or on your birthday make a good opportunity to take stock and assess your direction of travel to see what and how you are feeling and decide whether to change your living choices. The moment that you change your choices, your inner conditions change. God gives us the two possible choices which are death and life.
The two choices that control the world is either to obey God or disobey Him. Obedience leads to life while disobedience leads to death. Death is not limited to bodily death alone but includes death of love, peace of mind, joy, contentment and all the virtues that make for a happy life. Look in your life if you are missing all these then decide whether to change or not. The choice is yours. The good thing is God does not blame us for our choice He only leaves us to enjoy the fruit of our choices till we call on Him again. God is waiting for the world in pain to come back to Him again for healing.
PRAY: Dear Lord, I ask that You be with me as I look inwards and help me recognize any disobedience in me and choose to change in Jesus name.
