December 29.      Revelation ch 21-22

TIMES AND SEASONS. 

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”  Genesis 8:22 KJV

GOOD DAY: We run cycles in life. The cycles shall not cease as long as the earth remains. This calls for an understanding that nothing is new or unknown to God who made the seasons. Looking at the natural cycle, no amount of human knowledge or effort has been able to stop it; we only adapt to whatever cycle comes. It is the same in our individual lives. No matter how powerful or wealthy a person is, he has cycles in life. The high and the low periods. Put in the word of God, “Thus, “All human life on the earth is like grass, ” “and all human glory is like a flower in a field. ” “The grass dries up and its flower falls off, ”” 1 Peter 1:24 CEB

How do we then adapt or stand in different seasons of our personal lives? It is by standing in the word of God. ““but the Lord’s word endures forever.” This is the word that was proclaimed to you as good news.” 1 Peter 1:25 CEB The word of God is the good news that sustains man in all seasons. As we are about to enter another year, prepare how you will stand in the word of God that endures forever. You will find rest, understanding and strength in the word of God whatever season comes your way. Even the rich, powerful and those people who we look at and envy live in fear of the dark season unless they find their support in the enduring word of God. So, get your bible (that is the word of God I depend on) paper, pen and set time apart to read it, pray and write whatever insight you have as it will guide and sustain you as days go by. 

PRAY: Thank you Jesus for coming to become flesh and showing man to trust God through all seasons. Help me to come to you that I too might find peace and life no matter the season of my life.
