THE TWO SIDES OF THE SAME COIN.
“I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants,” Deuteronomy 30:19 NASB
GOOD DAY: One reality we all hate to face is the reality and certainty of death as we know it now. Not knowing when we shall die, how it will happen and what happens when we are unending quest which God has left mankind with. In the human battle to overcome death, scientists are now replacing human organs with genetically modified pig organs!!! Spiritists are researching how they can hold death. Many fear filled prayer points and vigils are organised to pray against enemies and dying. What do you feel? Share your take in the comments section. Will you allow your heart or kidney to be replaced with pig ones so you will not die? What exactly is it you are doing with your life now that will make you want to stay here at any cost?

It gives God’s perspective on death. Are there two sides to death? The good and the bad? The good thing about death is that Jesus Christ has lived, died and resurrected to show us that there is life after death. Efforts should be directed to how to live a good life here to give us a good life with God after death. Life is a journey, decide where you are going and live in a way that leads to your chosen destination. Do not be earth focused but eternity focused.
The bad side of death is the sting, the vacuum created by the exit of our loved ones. God has His Spirit who comforts us and strengthens us through the journey without our loved ones. Learn to live life not in fear but in joy doing what God requires of you. Then whether here or away from here, you are in LIFE. I pray that those in the bondage of fear of death will be set free to live for God.
PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus Christ, teach me to live in You and for You so that I will fear nothing. Help our teachers to teach the way of Your kingdom.

Death is certain to occur as no one lives on earth forever.. But the Bible promises long life in Psalms 91:16 and it is not out of place if we pray to have long lives on earth. We should not die before our time. We should live to fulfill our purpose and destiny. There are factors cutting short the lives of some people. We should also live good lives on earth that qualify for eternity with Christ.. There’s no benefit in living long here and ending it in the lake of fire. Since the Bible promises us long life, we should have it . Joseph lived to see his fourth generation, fulfilled destiny and made heaven.
