HAPPY DAY TO YOU: “I’ll clean the toilet and the lobby by 8 tomorrow morning before the clients come at ten. I’ll be done way before so I thought and I spent the day between sleeping and Facebook watching some of my favourite posts. The following day, I woke up at 7 am and before I could get myself together and do the cleaning, the clients came at 8am because the time of their flight was changed late in the night and they could not reach me until early morning when I had not opened my messages. I was so ashamed and lost confidence. I managed through the appointment but I witnessed a big opportunity lost there.
EVERYDAY, WAKE UP WITH A PURPOSE TO LIVE FOR AND FOLLOW IT THROUGH. I would have said goal but many people don’t like that word. My example of not having or keeping to my definite purpose if continued may turn me to a failure. You need to redeem the time to amount to anything in your life. Many people spend more time in their day on leisure, drinking, playing internet games, sitting in amusement spots with friends etc. We forget that time that has passed with the opportunity it holds cannot be regained. It is easier to play away the time because it feeds the flesh. I started waking up with a purpose some years back and I observed that the day’s purpose guided my steps. Every purpose fulfilled gave me joy and a good memory. I also noticed that writing my purpose daily allowed me to decipher why I am here on earth and who I am. If you don’t know who you are or why you are here, write your purpose down daily. By the end of one month, look through your daily purpose recorded and those you were able to follow through then you will have an idea of why you are here on earth. Today, start waking up with a purpose, write it down and see how much of your time in the day you were able to redeem doing your purpose.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Lord for showing me how I can know who I am and why I am here. Help me to wake up with a purpose daily. Say to yourself ten times “I watch to avoid distractions to fulfil my daily purpose.”
