WHAT SHALL WE DO IN THIS SITUATION? 11
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee,…Hosea 4:6a KJV.
GOOD DAY: I am appalled at some of the testimonies and actions of men of God to their congregations. The church and the pulpit have become objects of jokes and the laughing stock of everybody. Bloggers are making money posting jokes made of men of God. What a shame! The followers watch and laugh while some fight and curse each other defending their idols. My concern is what can the innocent persons do to free themselves from the yoke of men of God?
The first and principal thing is to SEEK KNOWLEDGE OF GOD in this case. Most men of God keep you ignorant of the wholesome truth and hook you with what you want to hear using sweet language. Jesus said: “and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”” John 9:32 NASB 1995 Truth makes free. The wholesome truth of the word of God is what you need, so create time to read the word of God.
Next, you should practicce what you know. If you fail to practice it, you won’t know the difference between half truth from your teacher and the real truth of God. The more you know and practice, the freer you are and the more questions you ask until you are totally free. If all believers can do this, the nation will be healthy for all of us. When you know the truth, it makes you restless until you become free from the yoke of those you are serving. God gave Esau the formula.
“You will live by the sword and serve your brother; but when you grow restless, you will break free from his control.”” Genesis 27:40 TPT
PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus Christ, open my eyes to love the truth and seek the knowledge of it.
