WHEN THE LIGHT IS DARKNESS

📖

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.  ‭John 1:5 NIV‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: The smallest light overcomes darkness in the natural. No matter how dark it is, a person can walk with the smallest light source, but the extent the light will cover at a time may just be a small distance depending on the size of the light source but it will overcome darkness. The light that the word generates overcomes darkness.

Whenever you are confused not knowing what next, your soul waits for the word that will illuminate your path. Once the word comes, it triggers joy in your soul and leads you on. You have a eureka moment. All darkness disappears. That is the light and life generating word for you.

Jesus said “The eye is the lamp of the body. So then if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. So if the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭EHV‬‬

The psalmist said “Your words are a lamp for my feet and a light for my path.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭119‬:‭105‬ ‭EHV‬‬. These two scriptures show that the eye is the word that guides one in life. Jesus further clarifies it by saying your eye must be healthy, that is your word must be healthy. If they are not, then your whole body is covered in darkness.

I leave you with the exercise of thinking on these scriptures for an understanding of the word in you. This will give you a good insight into the conditions that surround your life. Tomorrow, we shall unveil the Master Word that gives light to all creation.

I pray that the Lord clears your heart of deep rooted unhealthy words and culture that cover your life in darkness in Jesus name.
