WHERE ARE YOU?
“Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value].”
Colossians 3:1-2 AMP
GOOD DAY: We are continuing with spiritual relocation. To relocate, you must know where you are and feel uncomfortable and unfulfilled at the place to consider relocation. You must also be certain that where you are relocating to is better. As it is in the natural so it is in the spiritual. In nature, you can tell the country and town and the street that you live. The same way, you must be conscious of your soul. Where is it? Is it focussed on earthly things? Then you live on earth. There are the feelings that go with living on earth. They include lack of contentment, lack of peace, anxiety, anger, bitterness, covetousness, uncertainties and the like. These always make you tired and sick of heart. When fully grown, they cause fights, wars, rebellion, inordinate ambitions and living on earth naturally becomes unbearable.
Are you living in heaven yet your body is on earth? Do you want to relocate to the heavenly realm with your body still here on earth? Then go and do a survey of the heavenly realm in the bible. See the condition of heaven and if you like it, fix your mind on such things. Your body can be on earth while your mind is fixed on heavenly realm. The things you will enjoy in the heavenly realm include love, joy, peace, contentment, life and the like. There is no strife in heaven. You can live like that while you are physically here. Your mind can be focussed on these things. I have tried it and it is beautiful. Some things happen to me that take me out of that realm but I have learnt how to get back to my peace and joy as soon as possible. If you are tired of the place you are emotionally, then switchover, relocate. Choose Christ to be your Lord and savior and be seated with Him in heavenly places enjoying heaven’s treasures while on earth. It is possible to be stable in an uncertain world. Terms and conditions of earth keep changing while those of heaven are constant. No matter what happens or is happening on earth, you can enjoy the peace of heaven.
PRAY: Dear Lord, give me the desire and grace to seek out what the bible says about where Christ is seated and to believe and choose to fix my mind there.
