WHICH WAY FORWARD

““Who among you fears the Lord? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness And has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord And rely upon his God.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭50‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Scriptures give us the light to walk in. But sometimes, the light of scriptures does not shine in the believer’s heart. He doesn’t know what to do and becomes overwhelmed. This is a common counselling point that comes up especially about finances and health. People who work, tithe and give offerings as they have been instructed in the church yet there is no improvement in their finances rather they are becoming worse off. “What do I do now?” is their common question. I usually pray with them affirming that we have no other place to turn to. I do ask them if they have other sources that they trust. If they don’t and all hope of supply is zero, then I counsel them to trust God by praising Him and waiting on Him to supply. In all cases, He opens a door of supply that they never expect.

It is the same with healing especially at this time when medical bills are high. If you follow God’s instructions and obey His servant and nothing happens, then keep trusting Him by praising and thanking Him until He sends light that sorts you outs.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Lord that You make provision for when I am overwhelmed. Help me to trust You at such moments. Say to yourself ten times today and as often as possible (When my way seems dark and blocked, I will trust and praise the Lord till He sends light.)
