WHO ARE YOUR AUDIENCE?
““Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation]. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls.”
Matthew 11:28-29 AMP
GOOD DAY. I was filling out a form for an organization that I wanted to join and one of the questions was “Who are your audience?” That set me thinking and I came to the conclusion that we must know and have our audience in focus in anything that we do. The choice of your audience depends on what you have to give or do to add value to others. Jesus our Mentor had an audience too but He attracted His audience by saying what He had to give them. Jesus had PEACE AND REST to give.
To start with, what do you have to give? Write out what you have to give. It could be a product, a service, spiritual knowledge, or whatever it may be. Make sure whoever comes to you will have that value added to them. Once you know what you have, you can now advertise it for people who need what you have to come to you. I have peace of God, joy and hope in me and to give. My writings should ignite peace and joy and hope in the reader’s soul no matter his situation. So my audience is anybody who needs peace of God, joy and hope. Hear God too advertise what He has so those who need such could come to Him .
““Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk Without money and without cost. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And delight yourself in abundance. Incline your ear and come to Me. Listen, that you may live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you, According to the faithful mercies shown to David.”

Your audience are those people to whose lives you add value. We shall continue from here tomorrow.
