“So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.”
Job 1:9-10 NKJV

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Most people fear the devil more than they do God. In my part of the world, people spend ninety percent of time dedicated to prayer on the devil and some people know more about the devil and his operations than God. This is a misplaced priority because Satan himself said in the encounter with Job that God sets the boundary where he cannot cross.

Satan is not your concern. God is. Satan knows the finger of God and he never crosses his boundaries. Instead of fearing the devil, learn the boundaries of God that Satan cannot cross. When are you within the boundaries of God for your life and when do you cross it? Learn how to remain within God’s boundary for you and how to know when you are outside. This is how to have peace individually and as a community.

What Satan does is to entice or deceive you to cross God’s boundary for you then you will lose your edge of God’s protection. God’s boundaries for man are set out in His word. You are to be familiar with His word if you are to know His boundaries and allow His Holy Spirit to guide you on how to maintain your stand in His word. I leave you today to think about how much of God that you know and how much power do you attribute to Him. Get that right, and your life will take a clear meaning and path.

Today’s Exercise: Dear Lord, I am sorry I have not learnt Your ways enough to know how to hang on to You. Forgive me Lord. Help me to seek You with the whole of my strength so I will find and know You.
