YOU ARE IN CONTROL

“And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”” Matthew 9:28-29 NKJV

HAPPY MORNING TO YOU: Nobody can limit what you can get from Jesus except yourself. But each time I get to this scripture, I ask myself a question which is “where does the will of God come in?” As I was asking the Lord for what He wants to tell us today, The Holy Spirit opened my understanding. Faith in God comes from thinking on the word of God. The word of God that enters your heart generates God’s faith in you and that faith leads you in the way of God to get your desire. Your primary job is to think about the word of God until you have faith which then instructs or moves you in the way you are to act. See the following story:
“A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding. She had suffered a great deal from many doctors, and over the years she had spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten no better. In fact, she had gotten worse. She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind him through the crowd and touched his robe. For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition. Jesus realized at once that healing power had gone out from him, so he turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my robe?” But he kept on looking around to see who had done it. Then the frightened woman, trembling at the realization of what had happened to her, came and fell to her knees in front of him and told him what she had done. And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”” Mark 5:25-30, 32-34 NLT
Observe the progress in the story. First, the woman had bleeding that physicians couldn’t heal. Second, she heard about Jesus (the word of God) Third, she considered what she heard about Jesus and her faith guided her to touch the garment of Jesus. Fourthly, she touched Jesus struggling through the crowd and she got her healing without Jesus saying anything. Fifthly, Jesus commended her faith. You see how she controlled her destiny. You and I can do the same. Think of the word of God and you will be instructed to your desire in line with the word of God.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Lord for I am that woman who got her healing by her faith. Teach me to think on your word. Say to yourself ten times “I win the battle to think on the word of God rather than the noise of my situation and I work out my miracle.”
