YOU ARE NOT TRAPPED AS LONG AS YOU CAN SPEAK. (1)

“And after laying many stripes on them, they cast them into prison, commanding the jailer to keep them safely. After receiving this command, he threw them into the inner prison and secured their feet with stocks. But about midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing praises to God, and the prisoners were listening to them; And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so great that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors opened, and the bonds of all were loosed.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭16‬:‭23‬-‭26‬ ‭AFV‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: There are two traps that people experience. The physical trap like imprisonment or being trapped in a lift or a room. The second trap is the spiritual or mental trap. With the physical trap, you can reach out to people for help but what of the mental or spiritual trap? I was moved to tears when a middle aged man called and burst into tears saying “I feel trapped. I don’t know what to do to get out of this financial trap.” The story is long but truly he was trapped in a spiritual prison. He couldn’t think of a way out. There are many people in that state but there is help if you have a mouth. How do you use your mouth?

First, you thank God. Nothing can stop you from saying “Thank You God.” You don’t have to say why you are thanking Him. In perpetual thanksgiving, your mind will calm down. You may shed tears while thanking God or plead with Him spontaneously, but with time peace will come to your mind. After you are at peace, an idea will open to your mind so you can think it through and find a way out. Thanking God opens the door of any trap of the soul. I have done it several times and I have read many accounts of others. Note of caution is that the release may not come immediately or the circumstance change instantly but know that something is happening in the spirit and your soul will be free at the fullness of time.
