HAPPY DAY TO YOU: This saying of Jesus is quoted by almost everybody but most of us don’t know the extent of it. The Holy Spirit opened my understanding and I was surprised.

When someone offends you and you don’t forgive him, you are not forgiving yourself in reality. He pointed me to an incident. A man offended a person I know very ‘deeply’ and he refused to forgive boasting that he never forgives that kind of deep offence and he has spiritual powers to hurt and ruin anyone who offends him that deep. His offender apologised and he said ‘No, you will feel my wrath’. The offender left him and he started wielding his spiritual powers against his offender.

The offender started progressing and he was frustrated to the point that he started losing everything and became depressed. Even in his depressed state, he was still resisting counselling and he was placed under medication.

You call the shots of what you get out of life. Jesus Christ lived and died and resurrected for man to have God’s forgiveness. When we refuse to forgive others, we only deny the gift of Jesus and carry our burdens by ourselves.

Today, I leave you to look into your affairs if there are issues that are tormenting you. Then see if there is anyone you have refused to forgive. Repent and forgive the person or persons today and pray for them. This might be painful for you but do it and see how you will self heal.

I pray that God will bless you with the grace to forgive others in Jesus name.
