HOW TO PROSPER
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
3 John 1:2 KJV
GOOD DAY: Let us see the dictionary meaning of prosper. succeed in material terms; be financially successful; flourish physically; grow strong and healthy.
This is God’s wish for us but something must first happen for this wish to happen. Your soul must prosper. For the soul to prosper, it must save and meditate on the right things. “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
Joshua 1:8 KJV. This gives the right thing to meditate upon that will give good success. Fill the soul with the word of God and keep it grounded therein. I have discovered that when your soul is grounded in the word of God, what to do about any issues come to you effortlessly and if you are able to do it, you will discover that accomplishment is easy. You also learn to study anything you are interested in. God says we should study. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV
When you study, your soul prospers in that which you study and you can enjoy the fruit of it. Many people don’t like reading these days. Read, understand and apply what you learn then you will prosper and be in good health.
Today’s exercise; set out a program to read good materials daily that will make your soul prosper.
