WHAT DO YOU WANT
““What do you want Me to do for you?” And he said, “Lord, I want to regain my sight!” And Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.””
Luke 18:41-42 NASB1995
GOOD DAY: Can one have this type of discussion with Christ now? Can I shout like this blind man to catch His attention. If I can, how do I do it? These questions come to my heart when I read the life and times of Jesus Christ. I say we can and so many people ask and they receive. Jesus asked the blind man to receive his sight that his faith had healed him. Two days ago, we saw that God has a mind and we too have a mind. Mind is unseen so now, whoever will relate with Christ will do it first in the mind. We can have the mind of Christ so that in our mind, the drama of the blind man and Jesus can take place. When my mind is the mind of Christ, when my mind is pure, I will see God and He will ask me what I want too.
The second factor is to have faith. Faith starts with what you believe. What have you believed about Christ? How is that belief? Is it strong and unchanging or is it tainted by doubt, bitterness, envy and other negative emotions towards Jesus and/or others? It is an unshaken belief in something that has the active faith leading to action and manifestation. Unfortunately, there is so much information about contrary things flying around and we find it easier to believe them than to believe positive information. Believing in the good news is like an uphill journey on a smooth and slippery path. You need a boot or shoe with a very rough sole that can grip which you must not take off until you reach the top. We will talk about this tomorrow.
PRAY: Dear Lord, teach me to have an active faith in You.
