SECRET TO FULFILLMENT FROM GOD
““How enriched you are when you crave righteousness! For you will be satisfied.” Matthew 5:6 TPT
GOOD DAY: Yesterday, we discussed how we can have a blissful life even at times like this. Every human being wants to be satisfied in all realms and things. This sounds like a tall order especially with the economy of the world. However, I know a couple of people who are very satisfied. They cannot boast of two thousand naira in their accounts at any point in time under this economic situation. All of them are happily married with children. To put two thousand naira in perspective of everyone reading, it is just over one US dollar. Yet there are several people who have an abundance of material wealth and are not satisfied. There are people who have no biological children yet are very satisfied while those with many children are not. It is not what we have or do not have that satisfies us but our desire for righteousness.
Satisfaction comes to those who crave righteousness. Righteousness means wanting the will of God to be established in all things and at all times. Jesus put it clearly when He said “
““So above all, constantly seek God’s kingdom and his righteousness, then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.” Matthew 6:33 TPT. What does Jesus call “less important things”? The worldly things that we all crave. Money, house, marriage, children etc. The prayer of satisfied people that I know is ‘God’s will be done’. God’s will is righteousness and whoever craves it is the satisfied person.
PRAY: Dear Lord, may I crave that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
