HOW IS YOUR HOUSE?
“When an unclean spirit comes out of a man, it passes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ On its return, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and brings seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and dwell there. And the final plight of that man is worse than the first.”” Luke 11:24-26 BSB
GOOD DAY: Your house cannot appear more beautiful or attractive than you make it. It is not just in the natural world but the same thing happens in the spirit realm. Spirits dwell in the soul of man. Unclean spirits are spirits of the world system. They manifest as the following; “The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; idolatry and sorcery; hatred, discord, jealousy, and rage; rivalries, divisions, factions, and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” Galatians 5:19-21 BSB. SEE ALL THESE UNCLEAN SPIRITS AND IDENTIFY THE ONES YOU ARE HOUSING. As you listen to or read the good news of Jesus Christ, you are delivered from these spirits. They leave your soul then your soul is clean. If you don’t adorn your soul with the clean Spirit of God through His word, then these spirits come back in. Unfortunately, for every unclean spirit that went out, seven more wicked ones come back with it. This is why we have many professed Christians with little or no godliness to show for it. This is why preachers should check their souls for the motive with which they teach the word of God. The motive rather than the word preached is what counts because demons too believe there is one God and they shiver. “You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.” James 2:19 NIV
Today, do a house cleaning of your soul and do it from time to time.
PRAY: Dear Lord, open my eyes to all the unclean spirits in me and help me to renounce them in Jesus name.
