December 22. 1 John ch 1-5
TAKE BACK YOUR POWER 1
““Learn this well: Unless you dramatically change your way of thinking and become teachable like a little child , you will never be able to enter in.” Matthew 18:3 TPT
GOOD DAY: When I was young and living with my aunt, my baby cousin saw a big snake that crawled into the garage and was enjoying some cool air under the car. She crawled under the car and was playing with the snake. The snake did not injure her and daddy had to cleverly distract her to come and take sweet before he called the gardener to kill the snake. Children are trusting and don’t see anything as bad or good while they are still young until adults start teaching them the beliefs and thinking of our race. Then we start losing our power to those beliefs and we become limited and fearful.
For man to claim back his power, he has to unlearn all the beliefs of good and evil of his race and be filled with God or LOVE just as children are. They are free and ‘weak’ yet powerful. A serial killer was gunning people down and he met a mother and her little son on his way. He wanted to shoot them down but the boy looked at him and stretched out his hands to be carried and curdled by the killer. He dropped his gun, carried and curdled the boy, wept deeply while the baby rested on his shoulder for about five minutes. He put him down, blew him a kiss, picked up his gun and ran away to hide from the police.
For these two children, the power at work in them is the innate power of God that we all came with from birth. The power that keeps all our organs working intuitively and makes a baby move his body without anyone teaching him. We lose the use of this innate power as we grow and become conscious of ourselves. Think about this today, write out whatever comes to your mind as you think and we’ll continue tomorrow by God’s grace.
PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus, help me to see Your way to become like little children again to enter the kingdom of God.
