TAKE BACK YOUR POWER 2
“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” John 14:12 NIV
GOOD DAY: We all desire power if over nothing else, we desire power over things that concern us. We want power to make wealth so that we have our daily needs met, we want power over our health and many other things in life. Jesus lived with power over all the elements of nature and the spirit and the highest is He overcame death when He resurrected. He did not hide how to do the works He did and even greater works. The scripture above gives the secret. It is BELIEF OR FAITH IN HIM. If we must regain our power, we must believe in Him.
Faith is of the heart so our power base is in our heart. How does faith get to the heart? The case of the two children we talked about yesterday with power over the snake (mark you not to kill the snake) and power over the serial killer (not to judge but to love him) was because their hearts were free and full of the LOVE and trust that the snake and serial killer were good and harmless. The older we get, the more we decide what is good and bad and lose faith in God. Put children of all colors, genders, social backgrounds together and they will freely mix until the adults start teaching them segregation. Once that starts, the children begin to lose their power until they become helpless or powerless adults. Think about the state of your heart today and see how much of the content of Jesus there is. Tomorrow, we shall start with the exposition of the heart tomorrow to clear out the way for Jesus.
PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus, I pray that this celebration of your birth into the world will be a time for you to be born in my heart afresh in Your name I pray.

Hmmmmm … The state of the heart is critical to the outcome of our lives. Lord help us in Jesus name.

May God help us in this o. The physical nature of our hearts in this physical world ???? has taken hold of our spirituality, making it really difficult to faith some things. Guess what with God on our side? All things are indeed possible. May we deliberately seek Him and ask for the childlike faith we once demonstrated when we were younger. So help us God in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!!!
