TAKE BACK YOUR POWER 3
“Rise up! Consecrate the people and say, ‘Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, for thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: “There are things under the ban among you, O Israel. You cannot stand [victorious] before your enemies until you remove the things under the ban from among you.”” Joshua 7:13 AMP
GOOD DAY: The enemy of the New Testament Israel is not human beings. It is spiritual wickedness etc. “We aren’t fighting against human enemies but against rulers, authorities, forces of cosmic darkness, and spiritual powers of evil in the heavens.” Ephesians 6:12 CEB So when you talk about powerlessness, it is when you see things happening and you cannot take authority over the spirits causing it. Jesus was able to exercise authority over every ruler of this world and put them in obedience to the will of God. As we are preparing to celebrate the entrance of Jesus into the world, let your heart be prepared to accept your power back.
But wait a minute, how will you define power? What do you consider your power source? What do you do with power? The definition of power is the ability to do or move something.
LOVE is the greatest power for God is Love and we build with love and not tear ourselves down. Today, become aware of the content of your heart. The more love is there, the more powerful you are. The acid test of love is if you love your enemies and pray for those who despitefully use you. Take back your power by choosing LOVE.
PRAY: Dear Jesus, as the world prepares to remember that You came to the world as the highest expression of LOVE, help me to love as You do.
