SOUL PROSPERITY
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 3 John 1:2 KJV
GOOD DAY: Many times, we hear or read things and we don’t understand what they mean. To understand prosperity clearly, I went to look up the dictionary meaning. This is what it says ‘Prosperity is far more than wealth; it is when all people have the opportunity and freedom to thrive. Prosperity is underpinned by an inclusive society, with a strong social contract that protects the fundamental liberties and security of every individual.’
When I saw this, I understood better what our lead scripture really means. Naturally, nations have constitutions which were formulated with the aim of protecting everybody’s fundamental liberties and giving people freedom and opportunity to grow. We see that there is nowhere in the world where this is achieved completely 1 because only very few people read the constitution of their country 2. Only few people understand the little they know from hearing those who know. There is no space or time here to go deep into this but you can think about it.
It is the same with SOUL PROSPERITY but in a spiritual kingdom. In the kingdom of God that Jesus brought to man, the bible especially the Gospel Of Jesus Christ has the contract or covenant of God with whoever believes in Christ to operate in freedom with opportunities to be successful all round and thrive. If you believe in Jesus Christ, this is your portion whoever or wherever you are in the world no matter what the world is saying. The condition however, is that your soul must read, understand and live by the contract. Having understood the meaning of prosperity and how it relates with your ordinary life, when we start talking about Soul Prosperity, you will identify well with it.
PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for wanting my soul to prosper so I can prosper here on earth. Please open my eyes of understanding to follow as Your Holy Spirit teaches.
