GOD’S VOICE THROUGH FIRE: CALL TO REPENTANCE
“Return, O Israel, to the Lord your God, For you have stumbled because of your iniquity. Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to Him, “Take away all iniquity And receive us graciously, That we may present the fruit of our lips. Assyria will not save us, We will not ride on horses; Nor will we say again, ‘Our god,’ To the work of our hands; For in You the orphan finds mercy.”” Hosea 14:1-3 NASB1995
HAPPY DAY TO YOU: There are fires burning in Los Angeles and California that call for mankind to repent and call on God. This is like people in the ship with Jonah where the captain said each person should call on their god. I watched the videos on social media and my heart breaks. I saw the video some young ones send to their friends of what their houses and properties have become. Let us hear the voice of God declaring to mankind that the work of his hands cannot save him. When mankind decides to remove God from his affairs, and live as if he created himself and the universe, the result is gradual and eventual self destruction.
Let us return to God. Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to Him, “Take away all iniquity And receive us graciously, That we may present the fruit of our lips. Let us stop seeing the works of our hands as our god. We shall trust and obey you and serve you with all our hearts. Let us pray to God to stop the fires and touch us to seek and serve Him.
TODAY’S: EXERCISE: say this to yourself as often as you can: “Dear God and Father, we are no better than the cities burning, I repent and declare that we have all sinned against You. Forgive us and draw our hearts back to You in Jesus name”.
