ENGAGING SPIRITUAL POWER

“But now bring me a harpist.” While the harpist was playing, the hand of the Lord came on Elisha and he said, “This is what the Lord says: I will fill this valley with pools of water. For this is what the Lord says: You will see neither wind nor rain, yet this valley will be filled with water, and you, your cattle and your other animals will drink.” 2 Kings 3:15-17 NIV

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: The kings of Israel and Judah went to war against the king of Moab and for three days, the army had no water and were weary in the desert. They called Elisha to give them the mind of God. Because Elisha respected the presence of Jehoshaphat for he was godly, he decided to engage the Spirit of God. Elisha called for a praise singer. As He started to play the instrument, the hand of the Lord came on Elisha and he spoke the word leading to a miracle of water in the desert.

Today’s Exercise: Always giving thanks to God in everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:20. Say to yourself ten times and as soften as you can “I give thanks to God always. I make praising God my default setting in the name of Jesus.”
