SPEAK TILL YOU PREVAIL

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 KJV
HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against strongholds of the mind, imaginations, high things, and thoughts that hinder us from knowing and experiencing Christ and His peace. Things and thoughts that make us doubt the love of God for us just like in the beginning when Adam and Eve were deceived. It is inward and not outward with swords and guns. Look at it, if the heart of leaders move in the way of God, there will not be any fighting or wars in nature. Get a leader at war to change his mind today, the war will end. This is why we are admonished to pray for our leaders 1 Timothy 2:1-2.
Each time there is an argument in your mind to do good or not to do, you are having a spiritual battle. Every time you want to do good or obey God and struggle starts in your heart, that is the war. The struggle usually puts your own pleasure above all else no matter what happens to others. This is the struggle that leaders or people go through and lose then blame it on the devil when exposed.
The only weapon that prevails is the word of God powered by the Holy Spirit. If God says you are good and doubts arise in your mind saying you are not good, then keep saying the word of God to yourself until you silence the voice that is saying you are no good. It is the persistence in saying the word of God that kills the contrary thought and establishes God’s kingdom. The word of God is your sword and your mouth is your hand. This is why you must use your mouth to declare the word of God until the battle is over. Be mindful of your thoughts today to know when war begins in that realm and keep speaking the word of God.

Today’s Exercise: Thank you Lord for showing me that Your word in my heart and mouth is my winning weapon. Help me to hold on to it till it prevails. Say to yourself ten times and as often as possible “I repeat the word of God as often as need be until the situation changes in the favour of my word.”
