HAPPY DAY TO YOU: We have been talking about spiritual warfare for some days now. It is a battle in the mind to make you doubt and disbelieve what God has declared about you. It is a battle between what God says and what reality is presenting. When the Christian understands this clearly, then it is easy to hold his confession while the battle rages. Two women in the fashion business came for counselling over no sales with bills piling up and no way to pay. They were both sad and close to depression. I said to both of them that God says “they should keep His word in their mouths and they should meditate on it day and night so they shall do what it says and have good success.” Joshua 1:8. This means that no matter what the natural reality is presenting, I must keep saying the word of God and meditating on it day and night. One of them kept saying “I serve the Lord and He prospers the work of my hand.” Any time the challenge of lack came hard on her, she forcefully addressed it with her confession. People started coming to buy her clothing in bits until she overcame her lack. The second lady kept moaning about her situation until she folded up the business and became frustrated and depressed. Hold fast to your confession of hope no matter what your senses are saying because the One who promised is faithful and He will do it. You are not going to do it, He will do His word by Himself. Jesus puts it thus: “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.” John 14:10 NKJV As you stand firm in your confession, God does the work. Today, read or listen to this teaching several times until you have your personal understanding so you can do it.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Lord that the battle is not mine but Yours. I am just to stand in agreement with what Your word says. Help me Lord to yield my mouth to You. Say to yourself ten times and as often as you can “I say what God says of me no matter what my senses are presenting.”
