THE ACID TEST FOR ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: I thought this royal law could be escaped under some conditions. I used to argue with my aunt and mum. They both did not like it and my mum would eventually agree I was correct but I should have expressed myself better. I had forgotten about this until I too became a mother and my children were adults. They argued with me exactly the way I used to do with my aunt and mum and I can tell you I did not like it at all. Even when they are correct, it was not comfortable for me. It was then I understood this acid test.

Before you say anything or do anything to another person, pause and consider how you will feel if you were to receive such words or actions from that person or someone else. This lifestyle if adopted by everyone, will foster peace in the micro and macro society. Learn to pause and feel how you will receive whatever you want to give out if it were given to you. Remember that whatever you give out will always return to you sooner or later.

Today’s Exercise: Dear Lord, thank You for the reminder that whatever I do to others I am doing to myself. Help me to give blessings and love to others. Say to yourself ten times (I consciously control and weigh what I say and do to others.)
