REHEARSE YOUR FAITH.

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:31–32 NKJV

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Most of the prayer requests we get concern finances and health. The reason most people go around for church programs is because of the overwhelming health and financial problems that they have. Next to health and finances comes young ladies and men who cannot find life partners. You might be shocked that men too have such issues but they are many too. The reality is that all the pastors we run to for miracles are just as overwhelmed as the flock. Aside from their own personal challenges, those of the flock overwhelm them as well.

The way round the persistent challenges is to rehearse one’s faith regularly. Challenges are designed to make man doubt and question the love of God. This is what it has been since the fall of man in the garden of Eden. It is now left to each one of us to hold on to our faith for peace of mind. 

Apostle Paul looked at all the troubles of his life and those of his colleagues and the flock and he came to a conclusion as our text today. “What shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Since God did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for our salvation, He will not withhold anything from us. The question is; do you believe that God loves you in spite of the troubles? To stretch it more, can you believe that the challenge is good for you otherwise you won’t have it as He won’t permit it? The Psalmist said  “It is good for me that I have been afflicted, That I may learn Your statutes.” Psalms 119:71 NKJV. Can you say this with the psalmist? If God is for you, no hardship can overcome you or separate you from His love for you. All trials and challenges only work to persuade you more of God’s love.

Today’s Exercise: I am glad God that You love me even when I do not perceive it. Help me to hold on to your love at all times. Say to yourself as often as possible (I know that God loves me always. Challenges teach me how to hold on tight to Him.)
