HOPE IN HOPELESS SITUATIONS

“Then he asked me, “Son of man, can these bones become living people again?” “O Sovereign Lord,” I replied, “you alone know the answer to that.” Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again! I will put flesh and muscles on you and cover you with skin. I will put breath into you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”” Ezekiel 37:3-6 NLT

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: The situation was becoming critical and I can remember a brother in Christ not knowing what to do again after all efforts failed to produce results. He had imported a lot of blenders because the first two sets he imported sold off quickly. The third batch came and he sold a few pieces then sales stopped. It was like someone locked the gate to his shop. This went on for months that his bills mounted and he became behind in his loan repayments. This gave him so much anxiety and it was grace that kept him from serious depression. Then one day, God said “look at the products and speak to them that I say they should take on life and sell”. He spoke to the goods for some weeks as if speaking to a stubborn person. Then one day, he sold one unit and he was so happy and thankful to God but still kept speaking and thanking God. Then the number of buyers increased until he sold everything except a sample that he kept. 

To every dead and dry bone of hope, there is still hope from your spoken word. Speak the life from God to the situation and watch as it revives.

Today’s Exercise: Dear God, thank You for Your word in my mouth. In the Word, there is no limit or barrier. I speak Your word of possibilities to all closed doors or dead hope in my life knowing You will do Your word. Say to yourself always, (I persist in speaking the word of God to every dead and dry bone situation in my life.)
