COME OUT OF CAPTIVITY

“Therefore my people have gone into captivity, Because they have no knowledge; Their honorable men are famished, And their multitude dried up with thirst.” Isaiah 5:13 NKJV

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Anyone who converses with God in his thoughts or verbally, cannot but ask God why most people especially His children suffer so much in any world challenging seasons. I go around and hear people complain about how the country has turned out to be very uncomfortable. The Lord answered me that His people go into captivity because they lack knowledge of Him. Knowledge of Him sets people free from any oppression. I said to the Holy Spirit that people in my part of the world know Him. My people are labelled as one of the people who pray most. Every street has at least three churches, even my short street has three. Long fasts, regular night vigils and other spiritual activities are done on a daily basis, how else are they to know you? The Lord said something that is quite interesting because I see it in people’s lives. He said “they know me with their mouths but know their leaders with their hearts. The reverse should be the case. Their hearts are far from me but set on their leaders who cannot guide them individually through tough times. My people do not understand their captivity because they are “free” physically and are not forced to other nations because of war. Their souls are however in captivity to poverty, disease, corruption, their leaders who control their thoughts, social media etc. They live to serve these entities instead of Me, their maker. They are restricted in their thinking.” If you feel limited within you, what you need to be free is the knowledge of God. Start today to fix your thoughts on God and nothing else.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Lord for sending the path for me to be free indeed. Jesus is my freedom. Help me to remain in Christ. Say to yourself (I set my thoughts and affections on Jesus Christ and I am free.)
