“I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.” Psalms 139:14 NASB1995

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Yesterday, I asked you to meet the love or companion of my life. I also asked you to appreciate your own love and companion because we do neglect acknowledging his beauty and wonder. Your body, the only companion and lover who will remain with you all your life needs to be acknowledged.

Now, I want to continue loving the rest of my body. My neck; there is no bridge like you. You have connected my head and the rest of my body without fail. You turn wherever I turn to without destroying the thin pipes and threads that pass through you carrying nutrients, blood and information to and fro the two sections of my body, thank you. To my ribs, you have formed a faithful and strong protection for my vital organs, my lungs and heart. Thank you. I appreciate you. My heart, you are good. You have stayed true and stable in spite of all the aches, pains and disappointments you’ve gone through with me, heart, you are good. You pump life to my flesh every second and you have not been tired or failed. Thank you. You are the excellency of God’s work. My lungs, how can I thank you enough? You inhale and exhale to take in oxygen without which I cannot live and you exhale carbon dioxide the waste I produce from my body. Your vital work makes the earth to replenish food for plants. Well done. My liver, my pancreas, my kidney, my large and small intestines, my appendix, my reproductive organs, my rectum and all the other organs in me that I do not know your names but your unfailing works keep me going, I appreciate you. Every cell in my body, I appreciate you. My bone system, you are great. Without your support, I cannot stand. You are good. My legs that take me around, thank you. My immune system, thank you. You fight battles against diseases and I do not even know. Thank you. I thank God for every cell of my body for they are fearfully and wonderfully woven together to form a master piece. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for You were there as the wisdom of God during my creation. God the Holy Spirit, teach me to thank God for my body.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Lord for my body that you specially formed for your purpose. Help me to appreciate it and use it for your desire. Say to yourself (My body is a specially prepared temple of God. I keep and use it for God’s glory always.)
