“Jesus replied, “Believe me, dear woman, the time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem. But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”” ‭‭John‬ ‭4‬:‭21‬, ‭23‬-‭24‬ ‭NLT‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: The woman at the pool of Samaria was of the age of a physical place and rituals to worship God. This was the practice in the Old Testament times. However, God did promise then that the time of Emmanuel God with us is coming when everyone will be taught of God. The temple of God will be the body of man and God will be in each person. God further promised to give man a new heart. “And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their stony, stubborn heart and give them a tender, responsive heart, so they will obey my decrees and regulations. Then they will truly be my people, and I will be their God.” ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭11‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The New Spirit was poured out into man on the day of Pentecost. God has made His home with man and so man can worship God in the newness of Spirit. The Holy Spirit of God dwells in man. Are you sure that the Holy Spirit dwells in you? Check your mind today and ask God to show you the Spirit that dwells in you. It is not a religious exercise but an exercise in truth and life. If you are not sure, then pray and ask God to fill you with His Spirit. He will answer you and give you a new heart and a new spirit: the Holy Spirit.

Today’s Exercise: Dear Lord God, thank You for choosing to live in man. I ask that You give me a new heart and a new Spirit today. Say to yourself as often as possible (I have the Spirit Of God in me. I am the temple of the Holy Spirit of God.)
