THE I AM

📖

“Now without faith it is impossible to please God. For it is mandatory for the one who comes to God to believe that He exists, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭6‬ ‭AFV‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: It was difficult for me to believe that God exists or that He hears me until my mind was opened to the I AM name of Him that He revealed to Moses. Surprising to me, I found that the Israelites were touched by that name and they listened to Moses. 

My personal experience was what gave me my faith in God and determined the way I relate with Him. From the day of the encounter with the I AM, my relationship with God changed.

One afternoon about three years ago, I was overwhelmed with the pressure of looking after my two grandchildren after their mother’s home call. I just looked up and started saying I AM  to the air. Then my mind was heavy and a fear overshadowed me. I fell on my knees and still kept saying I AM. I then heard “ What can I do for you” in my mind. I said “please help me.” And the voice said to my mind “I have and I AM and I will” and that was the end of the encounter. Since that day, I know God exists and although I cannot put a definite face or figure to Him, He is a spirit personality that is unique to Himself and no definite name can be given to Him. Since then, I relate with Him as the occasion warrants and I create a physical object in my mind that fits my mood to relate with “I AM”. I put my head on my table for example like I am putting it on His lap and I pour out my heart. I hug my pillow like I am hugging Him when I am very happy with Him and praise and thank Him. And so I talk to Him as my mood dictates and He either drops a response in my mind or He moves in circumstances that I would know for sure that it is Him hallelujah. Sometimes, I feel betrayed by Him and I say it to Him like Jeremiah did to  express himself thus to Him; “O Lord, You have enticed me, and I was deceived. You are stronger than I, and You have prevailed. I am in derision all the day; everyone laughs at me.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭20‬:‭7‬ ‭AFV‬‬  You can observe how Jeremiah spoke with God like Person to person and God answered him. Observe Abraham, Moses, Daniel, Habakkuk and all the prophets and patriarchs of faith. God answered them but the ultimate was Jesus who related with God as FATHER then opened the door for all of us to Call Him FATHER. Relate with God as I AM and see how He moves in your life to be I AM.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You God for being MY ALL. Help me to see You in my all. Say to yourself (God is all to me and I surrender to Him in everything. He is with me.)
