WHEN EVERYTHING FAILS

“And it greatly distressed David, for the people spoke of stoning him because the soul of all the people was grieved, each one for his sons and for his daughters. But David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.” ‭‭I Samuel‬ ‭30‬:‭6‬ ‭AFV‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: These times are times when you or someone close to you is overwhelmed and afraid not knowing what to do next. Things are tight and they hardly sleep or have peace of mind. They are in the David position above.

How can one work things out? The first thing to do is to check your relationship with God or what you think about Him. A person who has no active relationship with God might find this difficult but that is where the key to peace of mind is. The second is to go to God and tell Him your burden that is heavy then tell Him to relieve you of the burden and give you His easy yoke Matthew 11:28-29. Third is to identify the voice speaking negative things  to your mind, making you believe that is your reality and enlarging the implications of your state day and night. Consider those thoughts as spiritual personalities and resist them with positive and possibility thoughts that God is able to do all things. Your reality is what God can do, not your own weakness or failing. Fourth is to recall God’s goodness to you in the past and continue to thank Him. Fifth is to go to Him daily and always to ask Him what to do. Whatever comes to your mind, prayerfully keep doing it until you get to the solution of your challenge. Never sit down to your situation with negative thoughts. Always think of the ability of God and praise Him. These will give you peace of mind until issues are resolved. TRY IT FOR IT WORKS I have practiced it several times and it works.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Lord that You are bigger than all situations in life. Help me to focus my mind on You and not my weakness.
