THE DIVINE MEDICINE.

“They couldn’t stand the thought of food, and they were knocking on death’s door. “Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭107‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: We saw yesterday that divine health is the operation of God’s grace upon someone that makes the person able to perform his obligations to destiny and service in spite of any situation.

Divine healing however is God’s grace that removes the disease and restores one to perfect health. How does one tap into this grace? Sin or distancing oneself from God exposes man to disease right from the fall of man in the garden of Eden.

When man sins or is bearing the result of the fall in the form of sickness, if he will be humble enough to cry to the Lord for help from his troubles and distress, God will send His Word to heal him and deliver him from his destruction. The ultimate Word of God is Jesus. Our healing was sealed in Jesus.  “Who Himself bore our sins within His own body on the tree, so that we, being dead to sins, may live unto righteousness; by Whose stripes you were healed.” ‭‭I Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭24‬ ‭AFV‬‬. He bore our sins on the cross and by the stripes He took, He paid for our sins. Whenever we are sick because sickness is already in the world, when we call God for help, He sends His word and heals us unless it is our time to exit the world. The word of God is medicine.

Today’s Exercise: If you are sick or praying for any sick person, call on God on behalf of the person and His healing word will be released to deliver the person from distress and death and heal his disease.
