HOLDING ON TO GOD’S WORD WITHOUT A PLAN B

“If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.” Daniel 3:17-18 KJV

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: People in the world advocate for plan B. Plan B is the alternative plan in case the original one fails. Faith in God however does not have plan B if it is going to be God’s way. Whoever will stay with God without a plan B must know God, understand and believe in His way and His faithfulness.

A man decided neither to give nor take bribes as a businessman. He happens to be in one of the businesses that catch the eye of the powers that be. When he consistently refused to give bribes or falsify figures, he was sorely persecuted. He maintained his stand even when he was falsely accused and attempts were made to shut the company down. He maintained he would rather lose the company than deny his God. Every attempt to shut down the company failed and he is still standing to date.

Without a plan B, you are prepared for the ultimate. In case God fails you, then it is what it is. Let the worst happen. This kind of faith is not common but the people who practise it do exploits for God. They are the ones whose existence testify to the fact that God exists. He still stands for and with those who will stand for Him in this turbulent world.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Lord for Your faithfulness to those who choose You. Help me to take my stand for You always. Say to yourself (I seek God’s will and make it my will at all times.)
