LET YOUR TONGUE HOLD ON

📖

“Let us hold on firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, since he who promised is faithful.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭23‬ ‭EHV‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: We each have an idea of what we consider good that we would love in our lives. With many of us and most of the time, what we see is the exact thing we do not want. How come and how can we correct this? When God made us in the beginning, He provides us with everything good in the Garden of Eden with only one command that will keep the evil out completely. But man ate the fruit that kept the evil and voila all evil possible were released. Since then, man has always had to deal with evil. 

To overcome evil is to find what God says about the situation and keep saying it even in the face of evil. Let us take health as an example. I had very bad arthritis some years back. When it first started, I could manage it. I didn’t deal with it with my tongue and it grew worse then I was awakened to the consequences it could have which I did not want. Then I started my medication of the word of God. 

My first and most prominent was “In him I live and move and have my being”. Acts 17:28 I slept and woke up and moved around with this. I added some combo which I took at least three times a day. They are; by the stripes of Jesus I was healed Isaiah 53:5; I serve God and He blesses my bread and water and takes disease out of me Exodus 23:25; He feeds my mouth with good things and renews my youth as the eagles Psalm 103:5; He sent His word and healed my diseases Psalm 107:20. I kept saying all these no matter how bad the pain was. When people saw me, they gave it all sorts of names. I would smile and thank them. I was in the UK and the people were quick to tell their stories with each of the pains that they knew. I kept my confessions of God’s words until He who promised fulfilled it and I was delivered from the arthritis. I formed a word picture of what I want from the word of God and today, wherever the road and traffic permits walking, I walk as far as I want. Hallelujah.

The result I want did not appear instantly, it took time but I never shifted my confession. My body soon adapted to my confession.

I leave you to try it in your own circumstances and keep the word of God on your tongue continually rather than the way it is  and see that it works. 

I pray that your situation will not take control of your tongue but the word of God will in Jesus name.
