RAISE UP YOUR NATION

“Through the blessing of upright citizens, a city is raised up, but by the mouth of the wicked, it is torn down.” Proverbs 11:11 EHV

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: I am certain that you want things to go well with your nation or the nation where you reside. What you desire of your nation must first be established in the spirit realm before it manifests in the natural realm. Up until now, we have spoken so much about the depraved status of my own country Nigeria. Both foreigners and Nigerians themselves have spoken so much ill about her.

But today, the Lord is calling on the righteous to start prophesying on her. Start speaking what the Lord will do in and with the land of Nigeria. Use Ezekiel 36 as your template. I have brought out some verses. Say that of your country. Here we go:

“Now you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel (put your country) and say this. Mountains of Israel (your country) , hear the word of the Lord. Therefore, prophesy about the land of Israel ( your country) and say to the mountains, hills, valleys, and ravines: This is what the Lord God says. In my zeal and wrath I am speaking because you have endured the taunts of the nations. But you, mountains of Israel (your country) , will shoot forth your branches and bear your fruit for my people Israel, because they will soon come back. Yes, I am on your side. I will look on you with favor, and your land will be cultivated and planted. This is what the Lord God says. Because some people say to you, “You devour your people and keep on depriving your nations of their children,” therefore, you will no longer devour your people or deprive your nations of their children, declares the Lord God. No longer will I let you hear the taunts of the nations or endure the scorn of the peoples. Never again will you deprive your nations of their children, declares the Lord God.” Ezekiel 36:1, 6, 8-9, 13-15 EHV

In your free time, read Ezekiel 36 through and pattern your word about your nation after the thoughts of God in the chapter.
