THE WAY OF LOVE 2
📖
“A person who covers an offense pursues love, but one who repeats the matter separates friends.” Proverbs 17:9 EHV
💭
HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Yesterday, we discussed how the repetition of offences separate direct close friends and relations. Today we are going to see how it separates casual friends or even creates enmity between people who have never met before.
💭
A person repeats the offence by his colleague or neighbour to you and you judge the person you do not even know. You now go on and elaborate the issue beyond where the offended person has reported. He in turn gets really angry and sets himself against the offender. You have created enmity between them.
🔧
Another way to seek and keep love between people is not to gossip. When you gossip about one person to another, you separate them.
It is better to adopt a godly way of viewing offences than repeating it to yourself or others thus sowing the seed of hatred.
🔧
I decided a long time ago to view offences as being against God and not me in person. I use Joseph and his brothers as my model. God makes all offenses work out for good eventually. It is part of my path to destiny. See offences like that and you will not feel bad for too long or see the need to repeat it.
🔧
Today, I leave you to thank God for every offence done to you as it is leading you to your destiny. Do it and you will see a turn around in your feelings towards the offence and the offender.
🛐
I pray that God will grant you the grace to have a clean view of offences and offenders in Jesus name.
