THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD 2

“He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters. [Rev. 7:17.]”

HAPPY DAY TO YOU; When we can recognize how we feel when things happen naturally, we can understand how it happens in our soul. Free pastures to the sheep may not be clear to the present generation as they rarely see shepherds leading their sheep.

If you can imagine coming from the hot sun into a restaurant with air conditioning and fresh smell of food and air freshener and the sigh of rest that you feel, how you sit on a cozy chair relaxed and waiting for the usher to take your order then you feel the soul when it gets to green pasture. How you forget all the troubles in your office or at home and just relax to enjoy the moment. That is the best I can use for the sheep in green pastures. If you know another description, please share it with me.

The soul is guided by thoughts that enter it. Thoughts take you to various quarters and they produce imagination. Some thoughts just pass through without causing you to look deeply into them while your soul sits on some till you imagine or see them in pictorial forms. Those are the ones you do. Those are the supposed ‘green pastures’ for your mind. Thoughts come from the Lord or other spirits shepherding you.

When such thought or imagination or green pasture is from the Lord guiding you, it will give you peace like when the water at the ocean is calm. If God is not your shepherd, your soul will be turbulent, agitating from idea to idea. The soul is assured and confident as it rests on the Lord’s idea. There is no fear of consequences of being exposed or any evil happening. I leave you to observe how thoughts make you feel when you want to take any decision today and write it down.
