Who is the man that desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.  Psalms 34:12-14 AFV

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: We all desire a good long life and it pains the soul when we hear of the passing of young people. The author of life Himself gave the recipe for a good life and many days. This is a direct instruction which we all violate. We hear and enjoy songs and stories with evil and guile and they trend as we relate them to others. O that people will follow these instructions. 

The second instruction that we ignore is to seek Peace and pursue it. Peace does not necessarily mean the absence of storms in the weather but inner peace. Man cannot control the weather but each person can control and guard his inner peace. Jesus is the prince of peace whom you can invite into your soul today and anytime. You are also to pursue peace. We labour to pursue earthly things but God says we should pursue peace. I have experienced that with peace of mind, you can connect to the source of all life and your needs are directed to you.

Can you start from today to make your life goal to daily seek peace and pursue it? Also can you refrain from listening to and spreading evil and guile stories? Then you will be on the way to good and fullness of days.

Today’s Exercise: Thank You Lord for leading me in the way of a full good life. Help me to accept Your way as the only way. Say to yourself as often as possible (I seek peace of mind and control my ears and lips everyday of my life.)
