YOUR INSTRUMENT OF AUTHORITY 1
“Now Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word.”” 1 Kings 17:1 NIV
HAPPY DAY TO YOU: If you were told that you were created with a facility or faculty that can protect you and your community and world against any evil, how would you feel or react? What will you do with such a facility or faculty? I will look after the faculty and learn how to use it very well. That faculty is your WORD. Your word is heard all over the earth. You can speak in the North Pole and it is heard in the south pole of the earth. Your voice is heard in heaven as you speak it on earth. Your voice moves heaven.
You might say “but everybody speaks why don’t their words have any effect”. Not everyone knows the power of their tongue. We use the tongue as we like and speak words that are vain and vile. The vile, vain and wicked words direct and shape the affairs of the world slowly until it begins to manifest. So the word still performs but not in the way we want because we don’t know how to use it to our advantage. Elijah was a man of the same passion as we are and he was able to shut the heavens up for three and a half years until God’s people were brought back to recognise Him. Each one of us has that ability to call forth conditions on earth that will bring the world back to God.
Whoever will serve God in Jesus Christ and be conscious of the word of Jesus not using his mouth to speak guile and vain words will be God’s mouth piece. Jeremiah 15:19.
I leave you today to think of the ability that is in your tongue and purpose to use it wisely to stop evil around you and on earth.
I pray that your tongue is surrendered to Christ and the Holy Spirit uses your word to declare heaven’s kingdom here on earth in Jesus name.
