You Are Not Defenseless

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: If you ever watch different animals you will observe that they have a body part for defence. The chicken has its beak and claws,the dog has its teeth, particularly the canines and its claws, the cat has its canines, claws and saliva etc. If God does this for animals open to attack, how much more will he do for man made in His image?

He built a defense tool in us but we neither believe nor understand it. We don’t believe it is because it is so simple and we are too familiar with it that we do not take it seriously. We prefer to use what we fabricate as our defense tools.

Your defense tool or organ is your MOUTH. It is with your word that you christen whatever comes to attack you. I learnt a lesson I have been using from Jeremiah.
The word of the Lord came to me: “What do you see, Jeremiah?” “I see the branch of an almond tree,” I replied. The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.” Jeremiah 1:11-12 NIV When God permits things to come your way, whatever you call it is what He will work on. The word penetrates into the being of wherever it is sent. The more you know how to use your word, the sharper it becomes.
Therefore this is what the Lord says: “If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me; if you utter worthy, not worthless, words, you will be my spokesman. Jeremiah 15:19a NIV
It is God who commands and it is so. God now says you become His mouthpiece if you refrain from speaking useless words.

The training you have to give your defense tool is to speak worthy words with it. I leave you to be mindful of words that come out of your mouth.

I pray that the gate of your mouth will be well guarded to speak worthy words alone.
