BEHIND THE SCENES

📖

“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” ‭2 Kings 6:16 NIV‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: If only we can see behind the scenes as prophet Elisha did, we would be confident to rest in chaos. The size of the storm or chaos usually looks larger than life itself to the extent that a normal person will be afraid and paralysed. The king of Aram came with a host of warriors to arrest Elisha who was just with his servant. Who would not fear as the servant did?

When a person is faced with a diagnosis of cancer that has a story of how deadly or aggressive and fast spreading the disease is, who will not fear? Faced with bills you can’t pay or a threat to confiscate your property, who will not fear? A woman faced with news of infertility and a husband who wants a child, who will not fear for a broken marriage? We all identify with Elisha’s servant and his fear.

Today, I pray that the Lord will open your eyes to see the host of heaven with you that is battling that situation for you. The angels of God are surrounding you and giving limits to which the situation can go. You only need to be calm like Elisha and watch God fight for you. When the servant saw the host of God behind the scene, his fear turned to faith and rest.

There are activities going on behind the scenes for a child of God who is facing a battle. The battle is not yours. Yours is to stand still in full trust of God. Read the full story in 2 Kings chapter 6 and rest your mind on that. God is on the throne and He is in control.

Today, I speak peace to your heart in the name of Jesus. I ask the Lord to open your eyes to see His host with you in the storm of your life in Jesus name. Receive your liberty to serve the Lord.
