HAPPY DAY TO YOU: I attended a dear friend’s funeral yesterday and I saw her still in her casket not conscious of anything around her. That was not the first time I have witnessed the lying in state of a loved one but this is relevant and touchy at a time like this in the world. With a world full of chaos and flexing of muscles at all levels, it is good to be reminded of death from time to time.

You came to the world with nothing and it is sure and certain that you will leave with nothing. Between the time you came and when you will be leaving, please labour for things of eternal value. Material and worldly things you gather will not leave with you. Give what and when you are able but give love to all people at all times. Seek peace with people in your bubble at all times. Remember your Maker and the time you will be called to return to Him. Consider each day as the last and be prepared to meet your maker. Get interested in what life after death is all about and choose which side of life after death you want to be.

The greatest preparation for meeting your maker is a close look at your unseen part-your soul. Go back to memory lane and see what you have there and what you are putting there now. Your intentions to see the real reason for which you live. This will show you the testimony you have for your maker not the outward works you did. By doing this, you will know that you need a Saviour who will reconcile you to your Maker. You need Jesus Christ His only begotten Son to save you from eternal separation from your Maker. Ask Him into your heart and know life and peace.

I pray that you will do a thorough and honest assessment of your soul and let Jesus in as your Saviour.
