THE BALANCING FACTOR IN LIFE’S EQUATION

📖

Keep turning your back on every sin, and make “peace” your life motto. Practice being at peace with everyone. ‭Psalms 34:14 TPT‬

🤔

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: A lady knocked on my door some years back asking for salt. She has run out of salt and probably cash to buy some from nearby vendors. I gave her a pack and she thanked me saying she had tried three neighbours who did not give her. I asked her for the reason why the other neighbours did not give her and she said she said she didn’t know. I asked her why she didn’t just manage without salt instead of going around begging. She said “mummy, food without salt is tasteless and meaningless no matter what food it is.” It struck me that though we take it for granted when it is available but without it, food is meaningless no matter how expensive or cheap. This is the work of peace particularly the peace of God.

🤔

Without peace of mind, life is meaningless no matter how rich or poor a person is. Salt and peace move together in the New Testament and where there is no salt or the salt loses its saltiness, it is thrown away. Whoever does not have the peace of God in his life has no value. Peace like salt gives meaning to life.

🤔

The peace of God is Jesus Christ. When you take Him out of life, even the peace of the world soon vanishes. The world is in chaos now because Jesus the Prince of Peace has been ignored and the life equation isn’t balanced. Allow Jesus into your life and He will give you His peace that gives meaning to life anywhere and in any circumstance.

🛐

I pray that you will experience the peace of God that passes all understanding and that peace will be your guide in Jesus name.

  1. Jesus said in Matthew 5:13 that we are the salt of the earth and if a salt loses its savor, it becomes worthless and is thrown away to be trodden under foot by men. I have been pondering on this statement trying to decode it. Now, I have the answer that salt here is the peace of God in our lives..May the peace of God be established and never depart from our lives in the name of Jesus.
