HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Before the death of Jesus on the cross of Calvary, access to God in the Holy of Holies was restricted to the high priest and that was only once in a year after making atonement for his sins and the sins of the people. A thick curtain separated the Holy of Holies from the rest of the sanctuary. This curtain tore in two as Jesus gave up His Spirit and all who looked saw the Holy of Holies and did not die.

This is significant because the curtain that separated us from God’s goodness was torn. I am free from every bondage that could steal joy and the praise of God from me. Jesus died so that I may live in God’s presence. Hallelujah. Words fail me to express the joy and peace that I have today as we remember the death of Jesus on the cross. Rejoice because you are free to see God and live in Him if you believe the liberty that the death of Christ purchased for you.

Jesus died that we may live eternally in the presence of GOD. His death is the greatest demonstration of love ever expressed.
