FRIEND OF GOD 

📖

“So the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp, but his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle.” Exodus 33:11 NKJV

HAPPY DAY TO YOU:  Today we thank God that we are here till the end of April. I pray the Lord to spare us to give glory to Him in the coming months in Jesus name. Yesterday, most people replied that Jesus is their friend. But they do not know how to walk with Him as friends. If you look at our passage for today, God gave us the template which is the one we follow with each other. The template we understand which is; God spoke to Moses face to face as a man speaks with his friend.

This is awe inspiring. The creator of the whole universe speaking with a mere man face to face like friends to friends. But that is it. Now, Jesus wants to speak with us face to face as friends more so that He has come, lived with man, died for man and resurrected for him that man may live forever as He is. Hallelujah. He hears our language, there is no special place or way to speak to Him just as there is no special place or way  to speak with your friend. You talk to Him anywhere you are and He answers you. So like friends, we speak our language to Him and He answers us.

Our problem is how to listen to Him. You see, Jesus lives in your heart now in the person of the Holy Spirit. It is not like in the Old Testament where He used all sorts of physical things to call their attention. Now your heart has to be in tune with His Holy Spirit to hear Him always. We shall discuss this later on.

Check what lives in your heart today and see if you have room for Jesus at all. Are you even conscious of what is in your heart? Let me give you a lead; anger, hatred, unforgiveness and the like or love, peace, joy, forgiveness, righteousness and the like. Search honestly today and feel free to share with us if you want to.

I pray that you will understand the situation in your heart today and ask God to cleanse it for His habitation. In Jesus name.
